- Identify which patients with hematologic malignancy may benefit from specific targeted therapies
- Recognize a myriad of causes of hematologic abnormalities, both non-malignant and malignant
- Identify higher-risk patients with hematologic malignancy and know the best available therapies for these patients
- Recognize best current approach to patients requiring more aggressive treatments
- Prescribe individualized plans for patients with hematologic diseases, both malignant and non-malignant, based on specific disease characteristics (genetics, molecular markers, etc.)
- Manage both malignant and non-malignant hematologic diseases in the outpatient setting.
